FERPA Compliance

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law concerned with protecting the privacy of student data. It allows parents, and students over 18 years of age, the right to access this data, request corrections, and control how information is shared.

XYZ Homework limits the data it collects to only what is necessary for a student to create a unique account, and any information required by an institution based on how they use the service. This information may include the student's first and last name, email address, class assignment data, scores on online and in-class assignments, and other classroom content.

We keep student data confidential and use it only as required to provide services to an institution, in accordance with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, adhering to the governance of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) in the U.S.A.
